Best Hotel near United Center Chicago

As a guest of ours here at Hotel Chicago, you certainly aren’t hurting for choices when it comes to live entertainment. Among numerous world-class venues, for one thing, you’ll find yourself just a hop, skip, and a jump from one of the most iconic arenas in professional sports: the United Center.

The United Center: A Legendary Chicago Landmark

The biggest arena in the NBA, the United Center, of course, plays host to the Chicago Bulls, and on the NHL side of the equation is also the home ice for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Some momentous games and matches have gone down here, needless to say, since the arena opened back in 1994, not least the Bulls’ at-home triumphs in the 1996 and 1997 NBA Finals. (You can, by the way, pay your respects to the G.O.A.T. himself at the United Center’s famous Michael Jordan statue.)

Besides its front-and-center basketball and hockey duties, the United Center functions as one of Chicago’s top concert venues, with seating for more than 23,000. Whenever you come avail yourself of our Marriott Bonvoy Autograph Collection hospitality here at Hotel Chicago, there’s going to be something on the calendar at this world-class facility in the Near West Side: only a few miles from your guestroom or suite!

Upcoming Events at the United Center

Looking at the Bulls’ home games in the near-term, the team hosts the Milwaukee Bucks on February 16th, the Brooklyn Nets on February 24th, the Washington Wizards on February 26th, the Phoenix Suns on March 3rd, and the Indiana Pacers on March 5th.

The Chicago Blackhawks, meanwhile, are welcoming the Toronto Maple Leafs on February 19th, the Vegas Golden Knights on February 21st, the Dallas Stars on March 2nd, the Nashville Predators on March 4th, and the Ottawa Senators on March 6th.

And, as usual, a slew of big-name performers will be taking the stage at the United Center in the coming weeks and months. Upcoming concerts include SZA on February 22nd, New Edition on March 23rd, John Mayer on March 31st, and Depeche Mode on April 5th. Looking further ahead down the concert calendar, there’s also Lizzo on May 17th, Stevie Nicks on June 23rd, and Madonna, who’ll be holding court on both August 9th and 10th.

You can survey the full schedule of events at the United Center right here.
