And what exactly do these sessions consist of? Well, a significant amount of pizza ingestion, naturally. The pies in the spotlight will hail from 25 of the very finest pizzerias in Chi-Town, among them Angelo’s Stuffed Pizza, Forno Rosso Pizzeria Napoletana, Pie-Eyed Pizzeria, the Warehouse, Roots Handmade Pizza, Chicago’s Home Run Inn, and Bacci.
All of this world-class pizza comes to you for a mere two bucks a slice, so you’ll be able to sample to your heart’s content without breaking the bank—collecting plenty of delicious data samples, if you will, so you can vote in the event’s “Best Pie in Chi” matchup (sure to be fiercely contested).
Pizza takes the starring role, of course, but don’t worry: You’ll be able to wash it down in style via beer tastings served by a host of local craft breweries.
You’ll be enjoying these fine eats and drinks to DJ beats, meanwhile, and interspersing your slice-and-suds sampling with various games, contests, and dips into the photo booth.
